Inspired by ancient practices traced back to Mesopotamia, where pickling emerged over 6,000 years ago as a vital method of food preservation, we blend the essence of old-world charm with a modern twist. My fascination with pickling began early, surrounded by the aroma of vinegar-soaked onions and the earthy crunch of boiled peanuts crafted by my grandparents. As I ventured into adulthood, my explorations into global flavors, spices, and culinary cultures further fueled my passion. In 2022, The Drunken Farmhand was born, a tribute to years of learning and a commitment to craft. Our journey started with a simple yet ambitious goal: to bring the finest pickles, sauces, and chutneys to your table.
